Turn to truth

1. Look for the underlying lie.

2. Find words in Scripture that state the opposing truth.

3. Connect truth with the One who speaks it.

4. Go beyond understanding truth to savor it, exult in it and embrace it.

5. Trust God, who speaks the truth.

6. Preach the truth to yourself.

Change project

1. What lies about God underlie the area of sin or struggle in your change project?

2. Do one or more of these truths apply to your change project?

  • God is glorious—so we don’t have to fear others.
  • God is good—so we don’t have to look elsewhere.
  • God is gracious—so we don’t have to prove ourselves.
