Summary
In Jude 5-10 we see three basic areas of masquerading, which is another word for hypocrisy. We see how dangerous these things are in other people’s lives and also how dangerous they are in our own lives. We also have a fresh reminder that our only hope is our Lord Jesus Christ.
What a masquerader is:
1) Church attenders who defile their own bodies
2) Church attenders who reject authority
3) Church attenders who slander spiritual beings
The reason masquerading (hypocrisy) is so destructive
