Romans 12 makes a significant transition from theological considerations to practical application. Paul’s focus in this passage: God wants us to present ourselves to Him as a living sacrifice; God wants us to renew our mind; God wants us to function as a member of the body of Christ.
O Gentile, it is by God’s grace and mercy through your faith in Jesus’ atoning sacrifice that you are now a member of God’s chosen people. Fear God for such undeserved favor, and give yourself to His plans.
