A local church is like a body, a family, a building, or an embassy. God intends individual believers to attach themselves to a local church, where they belong and serve as members of one body, children in one family, building blocks in a holy temple where God dwells.
The Ideal Setting
God intends the local church community to be the ideal setting for ongoing change.
An Earthly Home
The focus of our home now on earth is not where we are, but who we’re with. God designed the church to be a home on earth for His adopted children. And He designed us together to be a dwelling place for Him, where He shows His presence in a powerful way.
