Because of Jesus, we no longer need to live a life focused making the cut, or external observances. We can live a life of freedom, love, and intimacy with God as our new norm.
Because Jesus is our Advocate who makes intercession for us, we can approach God. Let us draw near!
The book of Hebrews focuses on the greatness of Christ, and in this passage the writer describes three kinds of responses to Christ. Which one best describes you? In the process of describing these different responses, the writer also explains how believers grow in their relationship with Christ.

Hebrews 3:1-6 compares the faithfulness of Jesus with the faithfulness of Moses. Moses testified to Jesus’ faithfulness, a faithfulness demonstrated by how He kept His promises. This was true for the people of Israel and is also true for us today.
Jesus is the Most High King—yet He gets involved with us, faces death for us, and claims kinship with us!
Jesus is the climactic revelation of God’s glory, to whom we must give our unrelenting fixation.
