Sent Into the World
Just as Christ was sent into the world by His Father, so now He has sent His church into the world. Jesus prays for and enables the church to be a united, joyful witness in a corrupted culture.
A New Command
The old command was to love my neighbor as myself. The new command tells me to love my enemies by serving them, which seems impossible. Knowing my identity in Christ is the only way it’s possible.
