Main idea: All are “under” sin – no exceptions, no excuses… yet (as we shall see) not without remedy!

Reliability Problems

We are going through a large section of Romans that exposes what people rely on, and the trouble that results when the objects of their trust are unreliable. (Romans 1:18 – 3:20). Today we look at Romans 2:1-3:8 – People who rely on God’s laws and the correct religion.

Just When You Thought You Were Off the Hook

Judgment day is coming for all, where all will give an account. All that will suffice then is the righteousness of God, received by faith and evidenced in a life submitted to Him.

The Grief of Our Father

Romans 1:18 summarizes this whole section (1:18-32), “The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness (unrighteousness) of men …”
